Travelkins // Visiting Wild River Country and Useful Tips

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief Leave a Comment

#ad This is a sponsored post by Wild River Country. My experience and opinion are my own.

Remember our trip to Wild River Country last month? I ended up making a video of our fun outing and I am so glad we got to capture a fun time and memories of our first summer in Arkansas.

If you are planning on visiting (which you should), here are some tips for making the most of your fun day!

Weekday vs Weekend //

Since our schedules are pretty flexible, we tend to try and do things during the week while others are in school or at work. This always cuts down on how crowded a place is so if you can swing that – go during the week. If weekends are when you can go, try and go right when they open. Chances are you will have less crowds and dibs on things like lockers, seating and rides before there are too many people at the water park.

Just Eat It //

Wild River Country has a wide range of food (that was pretty good) that made lunch time super easy. Since I am a mom of three boys, I am use to them having bottomless stomachs. So being able to order their food (and something they actually like) and not worry about the mess was great. They liked that they could swim while we waited for food and that it didn’t cut into their play time.

Lock It Up //

One of my concerns going anywhere is taking my things with me. There is nothing more annoying than to have to haul your stuff along as you follow your kids around at a park. I loved that Wild River Country had affordable lockers that fit everything we needed.

Standard lockers costs $8.00 and a family locker costs $12.00.

Park Map //

I was the child that had the mom that would stand at the gate of Disneyland and look at the map. It was the WORST! We were all ready to play and walk and she wanted to see where everything was. So before going to the water park I checked out the map that was on the Wild River Country website. We looked at all the rides, where the bathrooms were and figured out what everyone wanted to check out beforehand. This saves from the annoying mom and map incident and also helps everyone be on the same page of activities.

Cabana oh la la //

I love this option sooooo much! Rent a cabana. Wild River Country has three options (with three different price points) and are perfect for a small group or a party!

I have so much more to share with you about our trip to Wild River Country so stay tuned!

Copyright © 2021 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
