This afternoon we are touring a feminine nursery filled with whimsical touches. Soft shades of blush are balanced with grey and rose gold tones. Stephanie Hanna of Inspired Styling tells us a little more about this uber girly haven designed for little Maven (see what I did there?)…
“My inspiration for Maven’s nursery was the Mrs. Mighetto Oh Clouds watercolor wallpaper. I knew I wanted to create a space that felt whimsical and dreamy. So, I set out to find special items from small businesses that gave the room a fresh and original feel. I focused on a simple color palette of white, grey, blush and rose gold. I love this color combination because as she grows I can always add other colors without changing what I already have. The copper sputnik light is a modern statement piece that pulls the room together and grounds the design. I enjoyed every minute of designing her nursery. I hope she loves it as much as I do.”

When Lucy was just a month old, we moved into our current home. Of course, her space was the first that I finished! I really enjoy being in her room. While she’s playing and offering me pieces of wooden cake to eat, I am usually rearranging the décor. She will be 3-years-old shortly and will get a big bed. I will probably make some changes to her room to make it just a bit more of a big girl’s room.

This noble fairytale begins in the lost lands of the enchanted wilderness.
As the tall evergreens danced eloquently against the dark ominous skies, the castle quickly became filled with silence. And in the silence you could hear, and almost feel, the subtle laughter emerging from the children. Embrodiered details and plush layers carried them across the mossy-painted grounds. They emerged calm and powerful, for the wilderness set them free.
