The change in seasons tend to dictate color pallets in our wardrobe. Fall being one of the transitioning seasons, you often see warm tones, symbolizing the end of summer, mixed with the cooler tones of winter. Combining these two distinct tones helps create the feeling of fall meeting winter for the first time. This year it seems mustard has won all of our hearts over and I am excited to see navy make its comeback to fashion this winter.

There is something about the sun being out longer that creates such a need for adventure in our family. It’s almost like we all thrive in summer, like our spirits where destined for this time of year. Just the sheer joy of getting lost in the possibilities of the next place we can all visit is exciting! Naturally, the pieces I tend to gravitate to are earthy tones with a color vibrance that scream sunshine to me. As we enter August, which my family always called Indian Summer, I am choosing more loose fitting items on the kids, so they don’t overheat. These comfortable pieces don’t lack eye appeal with their stunning prints. We have a little less than a month to enjoy exploring before school starts. I can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us!
