A while back we moved into a little old cottage. Creaky wooden floorboards, cracks in the paint, poky little bedrooms…it has it all. It was love at first sight and although I have big plans for each and every space in this home, for now we have been nesting and making due with what we have. The result in Piper’s space has been a lovely, dreamy and vintage bedroom with all the fixings for a fairytale childhood.
Piper is nearly five and will happily go into her bedroom for hours and play with her mixed collection of toys or draw at her vintage school desk. She loves curling up on her antique kilim rug to read stories (all made up from memories of what we have read before,) and play dress ups with her endless collection of masks and wings and lovely things.
The walls have a few layers of paint. One is white and purple and the other three a suede army green. The longer I am here the more I love the vintage green, for now.
