Not everyone may relish flying half way around the world, across multiple continents and oceans, with an eight- and three-year-old in tow. But to celebrate Thanksgiving this year, that’s just what my husband and I decided to do for a family vacation to Bali. Your children are only children once, and the years during which one can make such memories for a lifetime are fleeting. So we flew to the sunny beaches, green rice paddies, and monkey forests of Bali for a week of bliss and mirth; capturing photos to cement the memories for when the babies are grown up, and off having family moments of their own.

(Heading out of Houston)
We Flew Philippine Air and they were incredible, food was good (for airline food) they gave the girls a bag full of coloring books, head phones, squishes, and a book.

We stayed at The Grand Hyatt Bali, which I totally recommend with kids, they are right on the beach and have amazing pools (where my kids lived for the week)
