One of my favorite holidays is Valentine’s Day because me and my babiekin love to make Valentine’s goodies for the students in his class. Here is a round-up of some of my favorite DIY Valentine’s that you and your babiekins can make together that are cool, fun and cute. Now I have to decide which one we will make this year.

It’s never too early for kids to start believing in something incredible. For my boys, especially Carter, the marvellous world of comic books and super heroes is just beginning to open up. Still a bit young to be reading the real thing, author David Bar Katz’s excellent hardcover books series on the world’s greatest super heroes, is just the thing to get my budding comic geeks a buzz. With bold and classic comic illustrations in titles such as the fun and interactive touch and feel “My First Batman Book” and “My First Superman Book“, its easy to turn a lazy day in pyjamas into a “POW” and “BAM” adventure!

FUNKINS :: Dress up as a Superhero Pilot!

This week, Aubrey brings us some high-flyin’ aviation inspiration! -Editor

My son Kolton LOVES to dress up.  He has received many superhero costume as gifts over the years.  He has become superhero-obsessed!  So when his Great Grandpop made him this toy model airplane, I though we would try something a little different.  I found him this awesome aviator cap and a cool jumpsuit.  I paired them with some zip-up boots, aviator sunglasses and an eagle temporary tattoo.  He loved it!  Plus, I got a break from helping to fight off bad guys.  Not bad!

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
