This past Fall Season, animal prints were everywhere. I love this trend and agree with Jenna Lyon’s and also believe that “leopard is a neutral” which means you can wear it with everything. I am happy to see that the Leopard Print Trend is continuing into this Spring Season in apparel, accessories, playthings and decor. If you want, you can also get creative and introduce snake, giraffe, and zebra prints into your babiekins wardrobe as well – Zootastic!
Velvet is soft, plush and warm and is my favorite fabric for staying cozy this fall season. The velvet trend started last fall, continued into the early spring and has returned this fall in many of my favorite collections for babiekins. I have my eyes on a velvet jacket for myself and for my babiekin I love velvet sweatshirts, dresses, culottes, sneakers, home decor and accessories. Because velvet is so soft and cozy and looks lush in rich autumnal colors I think it will also become your babiekins favorite fabric for fall.
After the Rain comes the Sun and Rainbows 🌈 ! This Spring Season I am loving Rainbow-style. I am seeing Rainbows on goodies in so many different ways: rainbow stripes; rainbow trims; appliqué, embroidered or printed rainbow graphics and rainbow shaped goodies. Here is a round-up of my favorite Rainbow Bright goodies that will brighten up your babiekins wardrobe or decor this Spring and Summer.
Whether or not you celebrate Easter, these cheerful Funny Bunnies will bring laughter and smiles to your babiekins this spring season. Here are some of my favorite, unique and quirky Bunny goodies that will have your babiekins hip-pity-hopping’ for joy. Enjoy this truly adorable round-up of Funny Bunnies!
It’s here! Sweet summertime has finally arrived in New York City and with it, all of the amazing kid-approved SS15 pieces (Ella begged her mother for one of these Stella McCartney swimsuits for her birthday!) that we’ve been drooling over for months. Grab the beach ball, throw on your Natives and embrace the fun!

I have a son, and my go-to graphic to add attitude to his outfits has always been skull and crossbones, until now, I am loving Lightning Bolts. Your babiekins will be faster than the speed of light when Lighting Strikes in one of these cute graphic tees, sweaters, sneakers, or with these wall decals. These adorable Lightning Bolt goodies are a fun new way to give new attitude to your little superheroes!
Foxes, Cats, Owls… Beware… There is a new animal taking the fashion & decor world by tropical storm – Flamingos! Flamingos seem to be flocking everywhere: in decor, garlands, books, plush, apparel, and accessories; one thing is certain, the Flamingo is the new must-have animal for this upcoming spring and summer. With colors ranging from coral to hot pink, there is a flamingo option for every babiekin – to be honest, does any girl have enough pink in her life?
My family is moving out of the country soon, so we are enjoying San Francisco’s sweater weather and all of our favorite spots in the city. This past weekend we took a stroll down one of my favorite streets in San Francisco, Clarion Alley, a small street between Mission and Valencia Streets in the Mission District. Clarion Alley is known for the Clarion Alley Mural Project and is covered with art that is constantly changing; so it is exciting and different every time we visit. We enjoyed strolling down Clarion Alley to see the new art, chase each other, and laugh a lot. My son’s favorite murals were the colorful flowers and surprise, surprise – the shiny robot. I find Clarion Alley to be inspiring and love sharing art of all mediums with my son.
