Skewer the fruit! Skewer the fruit! That’s all I’ve been saying ever since crafting up these little fruit skewers from paper clips. They’re ridiculously easy to make, and the kids, they love ’em.

Supplies:

• assorted fruit
• metal paper clips
• pliers

 

Start by straightening out the paper clip as best you can.

Using the pliers (you can totally use your hands if pliers aren’t handy) and bend one end into a heart-shape.

And voila! Mini skewers for all the fruits!

 

**A little disclaimer: I don’t claim these to be 100% food-safe. To help ease my mind, I boiled all the paperclips to sterilize them and let them cool before skewering the fruit. Make these at your own discretion! They sure are cute! Happy Summer!
