Although in most places around the world the weather may not be feeling like spring is just around the corner, I am nonetheless getting excited for the spring season  – for the flowers to bloom, for the grass to turn green, to hear the birds chirp and to see bunnies hop about. Bunnies have always been one of my favorite animals, and with Easter right around the corner it’s the perfect time for me to share my love of bunnies with you. Bunnies have been hopping onto everything this spring from children’s decor, to apparel and as the cutest and cuddliest plushes. This round-up will have you hopping online or to your favorite boutique to get your babiekins a bunny for Easter because somebunny loves them very much!

LUVKINS :: 9 Rabbit Picks for a Kids’ Room

Babiekins Magazine Blog - Inspiration for a Rabbit and Bunny-themed Kids' Room

1. Rabbit Profile Framed Art via Anthropologie | 2. Maximilien & Ludo Cushion Cover via Famille Summerbelle | 3. Bernard’s Ears Print via Catherine Rayner | 4. Through the Woods Rabbit Knob via Anthropologie | 5. Apolline Rabbits via Makie | 6. William Morris Brer Rabbit Wallpaper via Fabrics and Papers | 7. Standing Rabbit via Schleich | 8. Duvet Cover via H&M GB | 9. Wild Rabbit via Schleich

When I was a little girl, I had many pet rabbits — yes, live ones! — all with first and middle names and all with their own personalities. By the time I was in high school, I only had one, but he lived in an above-ground kennel with his very own dog house…er, rabbit house. And, he would come running when I called his name.

I still love bunnies, so it’s no big surprise that I bought that duvet above for Aveline’s room. (Well, technically my friend in the UK bought it, and then shipped it to me, since it was never available in the US. And now, sadly, it’s sold out.)

Now if money were no object, I’m pretty sure you’d find the above items in her room, too. I love those drawer pulls! For now, we just have the terrific duvet cover and the Schleich animals (our favorites!), but it makes me so happy to share this round-up of lapin inspiration with you.

Is there an animal from your own childhood which still inspires you today?

xo, Gina

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
