Transition your kids’ wardrobe from summer to fall with a neutral palette accented with pink. A classic palette is updated in this fashion story with a millennial update, PINK! Here we see the rosy hue blend in with shades of blue, camel, and cream. I’d love to know what you think, is it safe to consider pink a neutral now?

Sleepykins // Olivia’s Magical Space
Post by Sally Lopez of Mini Styling.
I wanted to give Olivia a room of her own. I decided on retro inspired with antique items of my own childhood. The sand dollar wall piece used to hang in my grandparents’ house. I was fascinated with it as a kid; and so is Olivia. We designed her room around this old sentimental piece. We chose soft hues of dusty pink, white and beige and filled the space with girly pieces she loves. The Numero 74 canopy and bedding in dusty pink from Lidorworld, wooden toys from Little Wanna Haves, with the white wooden Nofred mouse chair were a perfect fit for her retro playful girly new room. I love it and most importantly, she loves it!

Fashionkins // Playing dress up
My daughter is going through a super girly phase. We are talking pink & princess everything in our house right now! Playing dress up in her disney dresses is an everyday activity. So I have been trying to incorporate more feminine looks in her everyday wardrobe and taking full advantage of all the pastel pink pieces available this season. I am a strong believer in accessories and I feel like they can make or break an outfit. It amazes me at how many companies are now creating accessory lines for kids. I find that most of the brands I like for her are online based boutiques, but I really like to see things in person for certain outfits. My go to store at the moment is Forever 21, they always have fun, playful accessories that are so easy to style on your little ones. I know these phases come & go so I will try and have as much fun dressing up with her as long as possible!

Fashionkins // Pretty In Pink
Pink isn’t a colour that I would ordinarily gravitate to. I wouldn’t consider myself particularly ‘girly’; The pink pieces I have stumbled across for Edie have been too full on for me … Hot Pink’s caked in Glitter, Frill’s, Garish Character’s. I just can’t bring myself to do it.
From time to time we’ll find some pieces in pink, that don’t bring this Mumma out in hives; And we embrace them.
With Valentine’s just around the corner, we put our best feet forward in our Anna Pops shoes and took to Cambridge to share the love.
