Ain’t no party like a Christmas party!

Let’s cut to the chase: everyone loves a good Photo Booth… especially when you’ve wrangled your kids out of their typical getup of yogurt-stained sweats and scrubbed/pressed/dressed them to the 9’s for a Holiday party!

Home improvement material hoarders rejoice; your time has come! What you’ll need:

– extra-large roll of paper (aka: masking paper or painter’s paper from your local hardware store – a roll is about the price of that Gingerbread latte you ordered this morning) or a pressed Queen-sized bed sheet.

– clear tape

– props /confetti (sorry, in advance, for the chaos ignited by these bits of sparkle)

– sugar-hyped kids

Directions:

Roll it out, tape it up, slap on some stars if you’re feeling extra crafty. (really! that’s it!)

In the age of television-sized smart phones you won’t even need a camera or photographer stationed by the booth. Instead, give yourself the opportunity to snack on the finger foods (you painstakingly cut into Christmas shapes) and allow parents to snap away at their leisure.

“Okay. Great. But how do I enjoy all of photos at the end of the event!?”, you ask. Simply ask your child to help you concoct a specific hashtag that guests can use when sharing on social media. You’ll be able to enjoy photos and reflect on how brave you were to give 8 year old boys confetti all year long! PS: Don’t forget to tag Babiekins- we don’t like missing out on the fun!
