Talia Handler is as talented as they get. She has been one of our contributing illustrators since I can remember and has always brought so much life into our articles. She has now opened up an adorable paper shop that takes custom orders! Super fun!

Here is a little bit about Talia in her own words.
Who am I:
My name is Talia Handler. I’m a nature lover, city girl, red head, dog lover, mountain hiker, and artist. I am a Brooklyn girl dreaming of living in the mountains with an art studio and about 15 dogs.
How I came to create Little Mondays:
I’ve been brainstorming my own label for actually as long as I can remember. I’ve been drawing since birth and every day since. I lost my dad at 15 years old, so creating something that gave my life meaning and made me feel fulfilled has always been a very top priority.
My first idea for a company was called Thumbtack, and it was a teens clothing brand. After 4 years at the top fashion school in the country studying children’s fashion, I realized I wasn’t that into clothing! Good thing an old boss saw me drawing at my desk (which is what I normally got in trouble for ALL THE TIME) because months later he offered me a job by as a graphic designer for children’s apparel.
In that time, I learned the ropes of having my drawings come to life through a digital process. I also started training my hands in hand lettering, and it became more of an obsession. I still carry around a notebook and about 20 pens with me at all times (seriously, you never know when your lettering skills will be extrememly necessary).
I started to produce so many drawings on the side, I created my own instagram for them: @taliahandlerart During that time, people were requesting so many prints and custom orders. It was because of all the lovely amazing people and their support that I realized paper goods was a perfect field for me! After brainstorming the perfect line for over a year, I finally launched my website last week.
What I sell:
Greeting cards, art prints, enamel pins, and wrapping paper sheets (and hopefully way more products over time!)
We also LOVE custom orders at LM. Currently accepting orders for wedding invites, hand drawn logos, holidays cards, menus, and way more!
Also always always always open to collaborations.
Where did the name come from:
Being that I worked in children’s clothing for 4 years, I LOVED Babiekins Magazine! I was flipping through and thought I saw a line called Little Mondays, and immediately thought it was such a cute and quirky name. I was so pleased when I realized I misread, because that gave me the chance to start planning my line before I even knew what I was going to create.
All my look book photos were captured by the incredible talented Laura Morsman photography. She can be found at:
