An average day, with standard questions from my 5 year old. Generally, I have it covered. Occasionally, I stumble. I turned to OKIDO Studio. The Arts and Science Magazine for kids. I picked up this big chunky bright book. ”What’s Inside?” I thought it would be a great book for the boy to further understand how things work.

 

The real magic in this book is in the transparent pages. There is text throughout, but the real understanding comes in the way the book is so interactive.

The cute characters Zam, Zim and Zoom lead you through from learning what’s inside your body, machines, the world of nature, buildings and then onto a section where you can draw what you’d like to put in the presents, fridge, tree.

 

It’s a large sturdy book of 94 pages of bright, engaging and interesting clear illustrations. A book for them both to go back to again and again.
