By now, you’ve probably seen the latest line of Oh Joy! For Target goodies. If you haven’t, you need to get yourself to a Target as soon as possible. It’s my favorite collection yet. The geometric patterns complete with hints of gold foil make it feel like the classiest line of party supplies you’ve ever seen. I’ve been planning my daughter’s first birthday party (coming up soon!) and Joy’s patterns and color scheme fit in with my birthday bash ideas so perfectly. It’s fate, I tell you! I wanted to incorporate the gold and pink geometric pattern as a garland and these napkins were perfect for just that!
Materials needed:
- geometric napkins from Oh Joy! For Target Fall
- paper fasteners/brads
- white or black yarn
- thumbtack
Cut a long piece of yarn to your desired length for the garland. Fold each napkin in half over the yarn. Using the thumbtack, poke three tiny holes at the top of each fold, but just under where the yarn is.
Remove the thumbtack and thread a paper fastener/brad through each hole. Unfold the fastener to keep the napkins in place. Repeat these steps until you’ve completed the length of the garland.
You should also pick up as many mini party hats from the collection as you can. They’re going to come in handy for all sorts of parties. I can feel it.
Now, hang the garland anywhere you see fit! Use it as a backdrop for parties, to brighten up your office, or hang in the kids’ playroom! Let’s all thank Joy for creating the loveliest party supplies to have ever graced the Target aisles!
