FEATUREKINS// Moon Fries Romper

By Jenny Smith, Contributor Leave a Comment

We’re off to the racetrack! Just kidding, Carter barely tops 3-kilometres an hour. But that doesn’t stop us from imagining such! Little man is rocking the newest romper from Moon Fries. Made from extremely soft and breezy bamboo cotton with a black and white checkered trim, getting this thing on and off him is so quick; he should end up on the winner’s podium every time!

FASHIONKINS // Blue Jeans

By Katleen 2 Comments

To say that I like jeans would be a slight understatement.  I just L O V E  them! You can dress them up or down and they don’t need too many accessories. Fashion genius Yves Saint Laurent said the following about jeans…: “I wish I had invented blue jeans, the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity,… all I hope for in my clothes.” I rest my case.

So, lucky for me that jeans are on the trend.  Even more, layering denim on denim would make a pretty perfect look!  It is the right outfit for spring; comfortable and stylish enough for a mommy on the go.  I love all colours, and I have a pair in black, grey, white and pastel pink even (yes I’m a girly girl at heart). BUT the classic blue jeans is my all time fave, of course. It makes me think of blue spring skies, fresh air and being outside with the fam. Oh, and this look works great for men too… and kids! Even the bebe joins in on this trend. And euhm, who says a mama cannot be all matchy-matchy with her boys?! It’s so fab!

I am wearing Acne Studio skinnies, you can find similar here.

My eldest boy is wearing shoes from EFVVA, you can find them here.

He’s wearing his favourite beanie from Moonfries, you can find it here.

The kids are wearing H&M jeans! For the boys I always buy skinnies from the girl’s department, so they are extra slim. Shhhht, don’t tell!

Pictures by myself, tumblr and pinterest.

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
