Little Biscuit was started by East London based graphic designer Alison Norris in 2013. Her designs are crafted from Up-Cycled Fabric sourced from donations, charity shops and car boot sales. Allison is happiest when rummaging through piles of what she calls fabric ‘treasure,’ from which the inspiration for her new creations is drawn.
Alison was a graphic designer and museum curator before having her son in 2012. Her son suffered from reflux as a baby, and Alison did not want to put him in tight fitting trousers. Unable to find baby clothes she liked that weren’t gender specific, or covered in baby characters, she started making her son’s trousers herself from old t-shirts. After many compliments, Allison decided to take the plunge and Little Biscuit was born!
Little Biscuit now includes trousers, skirts, t-shirts, jumpers, superhero capes and more, all made from Up-Cycled or Vintage Fabric.
