We are so excited to share their latest fall fashion trends AND celebrate the month of October which is #downsyndromeawarenessmonth . We love Wonderfully Made Clothing Co because of their focus on inclusion in the fashion industry.  We talked with Andrea Edmonds , founder of @wonderfully_clothingco  about why inclusive sizing is so important to our kids today.

“I started Wonderfully Made Clothing Co. because of my daughter’s clothing challenges. Ruthie began sizing out of our favorite lines at an early age. She has #Downsyndrome and #hypothyroidism. She is an active young lady who swims year round, exercises in a physical therapy wellness program, and has a good nutrition plan, but her weight is still a struggle.  Because of our challenge, I saw that there was a need for true inclusive sizing, which would accommodate all of our girls. Many girls need just a little more from their clothing as they grow and change. We create our own designs and patterns in sizes 8-18 so that all girls can be confident and comfortable in their clothing. Our fit is a little more generous so many girls actually find that they need to size down to get the perfect fit. Our designs combined with high quality fabrics help to eliminate the need to add multiple layers such as a bra and a tank under their clothing.
