They say the third time’s a charm and after a successful party for my little-big man’s 3rd birthday, I must say I agree! I’ve gone quite over the top in the past, but with a new tot to tote around I tried to keep things—somewhat—minimal this time. So, to make things simple without losing the shock and awe, I went with a gilded gold and shining silver colour scheme with a touch of bronze and copper. The balloons were a cinch to pick up and, the cake was bought at a local bakery,the cupcakes were made by using a boxed mix and the materials for the good bags were all picked up at the craft store! It was also nice to have my little helper around since Carter loves to be involved!
