When it comes to working on a gender neutral nursery it is best to start off with a very basic color palette, that you can slowly build off of. Keeping in mind colors that would go well with the colors you would want to incorporate once you know babies gender, that way the room can grow with your child. I was inspired by my baby shower theme which incorporated boho/nature vibes. I actually reused the dessert table back drop to put over the crib, which I handmade for the event. Plants are always a great addition to any room and in this case it really helped bring in the nature aspect I was looking for. I added tiny bits of glam with scattered gold pieces throughout for more dimension. Now that HE has made his arrival I have slowly been adding more turquoise and blue’s into the mix. The most important thing to keep in mind is just have fun with it & be open to all colors for either gender.
