“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” Robert Louis Stevenson
Guilt visits me at the end of everyday. Did I spend enough time with my children? Was I too harsh? Did I listen to their stories and give ear to their daily troubles? This quote brings peace to my soul and hits me square in the face. It is only natural that we are our own biggest critics. However, for me, with guilt comes comfort. It is a beautiful thing to be able to steer one’s mind and give way to speaking truth to ourselves. I am their Mother for a reason and to be honest I was doing everything humanly possible in the day to take care of our home and them. I am planting seeds of that I am certain.
