Carter’s 2nd birthday is just around the corner so I slowly started to work on some party prep for his special day. I’ve always loved the balloon in a balloon, but have never tried to do it myself, until now. Surprisingly, it was quite simple and I will show you how it was done below.
Supplies Needed// Tissue paper, ribbon, scissors, clear balloons, coloured balloons and a helium tank (not shown here).
Step 1 // First make your confetti by stacking your tissue paper one on top of another and cut out approximately 1 inch wide strips. Once you have your 1 inch wide strips, cut them into bits of confetti.
Step 2 // Stuff some confetti into one clear balloon. I didn’t use a funnel or anything, just jammed them in with my finger.
Step 3 // Now take coloured balloon and insert a small stick into it. I used a coffee stirring stick. This will help you insert the coloured balloon into the clear balloon.
Step 4 // Bring out your helium tank. I get mine from Costco, but you can find it at most craft and party supplies stores.
Step 5 // Insert the nozzle into the coloured balloon and blow it up to about a 7 inch wide balloon then tie a knot on it.
Step 6 // Now insert the nozzle into the clear balloon and blow it up to your desired size.
Step 7 // Tie your knot and a ribbon around it and you have yourself a balloon inside of a balloon with confetti!
