Bunny ears, pastel colours, bows, sequins and sunlight streaming through the forest. Easter brings forth an excuse to dress up and savour treats and time. Little hand-made dresses and a crochet rug make the perfect excuse to pack our bags and head out into the forest to play on the rope swing, gobble chocolate cookies and play in the sunshine. Just a few of our favourite things. Adding some bunny ears meant a morning of play and frolicking, the best way to pass time.

Vivid prints, mixing up patterns, accessories and bold colours; I enjoy seeing my little ones in all of the above and we have great fun with it.

And then… in total contrast… I’ll find pieces that are stripped back with unapologetic simplicity. Where the fabric speaks for itself and the smallest details sing. And they look. Beautiful.

This handmade linen Elks dress evokes childhood memories of mine. Totally captivated by Enid Blyton’s ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’, I would play in these woods on the edge of our village on long Sunday afternoons; Imagining being in the thick of ‘The Famous Five’ adventures.

It’s amazing how with no other distractions the smallest of details sing; whether that be the silhouette, the detail in a collar, or how the material feels between your finger tips.
