I really am on a straw kick. My mind was completely blown when I happened upon these DIY Animal Party Straws. The wheels are turning with endless inspiration now! The tricky part? I think these straws might be too pretty to actually drink out of!
These dainty straws are perfectly perfect for a little girl’s tea party or a bright pink flamingo birthday bash! Visit Fete Gazette for more DIY inspiration!

What’s more fun than drinking from a normal stripey straw? Drinking from a stripey straw that’s been decked out for the holidays, that’s what. Give your sips and snacks a little pizzazz by adding some sparkle to create these 4th of July Sparkler Drinking Straws.
Supplies:
Start by cutting a small piece of tinsel. Cut carefully as this stuff can shed tinsel strands easily.
Place a small dollop of hot glue onto the straw about 1/3 down from the top.
Before the hot glue dries, wrap the small strip of tinsel around the straw and press the ends down into the glue.
Wait for the glue to dry (it’s quick!), and admire. That’s it!
Stick the straws in some cute bottled soda, or snip them down and place them in cupcakes. Whatever you use them for, they’ll definitely make anything Independence Day-ready!
They’re so cute, I may just have to hoard them all for myself. Now go and get your glue guns, folks. Happy Independence Day!

Oh how I love white! Not only for my wardrobe, but also in my house… all my walls are white, and if I could choose all by myself, I would have all my furniture, floors and home accessories in white too! About the clothes… when dressing for summer, adding a white piece can never go wrong. It always gives your look a clean and crisp touch. Mixing white, grey and blue radiates a nice, fresh feel. The organic leggings from Diapers & Milk are perfect for achieving the look I was thinking about for my babe. You know I like some twinning with my kiddos, so I added a little mama-fashion too…

It’s hard to believe, but the 4th of July is right around the corner. With that, comes all the fun projects and parties! These 4th of July Sprinkle Fireworks are the perfect addition to a summer soiree for the kids OR the adults! They’re flame-less so they’re safe for all ages and they make the ice cream eating easy! (Not that it wasn’t easy already.)
They’re made by simply decorating empty push pop cups with colorfully patterned paper and double-stick tape! Once they’re wrapped, fill them with sprinkles and you’re set!
An explosion of sprinkles sounds like the perfect treat on a summer afternoon.
I can envision this working for a slew of different holidays. Perhaps some silver & gold sprinkles for New Year’s Eve?
It’s the perfect way to get kids feeling patriotic and it will help everyone stay cool! To see more pictures and the full detailed how-to, visit the Shop Sweet Lulu blog! You can also purchase everything you need for this project in their shop!
