Although in most places around the world the weather may not be feeling like spring is just around the corner, I am nonetheless getting excited for the spring season – for the flowers to bloom, for the grass to turn green, to hear the birds chirp and to see bunnies hop about. Bunnies have always been one of my favorite animals, and with Easter right around the corner it’s the perfect time for me to share my love of bunnies with you. Bunnies have been hopping onto everything this spring from children’s decor, to apparel and as the cutest and cuddliest plushes. This round-up will have you hopping online or to your favorite boutique to get your babiekins a bunny for Easter because somebunny loves them very much!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Those are just some of the animals your little will find in I Like Animals from Wide Eye Books. Written and illustrated by Dahlov Ipcar, the book features beautiful and classic illustrations in a 70s style motif. The book brings a nostalgic feeling of finding a gem in the library when you were a kid! Accompanied with the animals in his life—and I’m not just talking about our old English bulldog Doug!—Carter loves to play and read the afternoon away with this book.

This past Sunday, while most Americans were watching the Super Bowl, my son and I watched the Puppy Bowl: for my three year-old the highlight of the show was the Kitty Half Time Show. Like my son, I love cats, and apparently so do designers. Talk about nine lives, cats have been making appearances on apparel, toys, and decor for several years now, and the trend doesn’t look like it is going away any time soon. With products as cute as these, I can see why cats are still hanging in there, they are the Cat’s Meow!
“Candy Crush” plays around with pink stars, yellow stripes and a lot of candy, which let baby’s heart beat faster. I just loved seeing these three adorable baby-girls playing piano, push-up lamps and simply be amazing.
It’s October already; not only is it Autumn, but Halloween is just around the corner – yes that’s the spooky corner with the cobwebs in it. Halloween is my favorite Holiday because I love all of its’ festive activities that include trick-or-treating (or the related “guising”), dressing up in costumes, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, eating sweets, apple bobbing, visiting a haunted house, telling scary stories, and watching horror films (the spookier, the funner). Another thing I love about Halloween is the fashions. Besides getting dressed up in costume for Halloween night, I love the fashion trends of Sweatshirts, Masks, Dip Dye, Fringe, Glow-in-the-Dark, Graphic T-Shirts, and Animal Ears that can be worn long after Halloween. Here is my round-up of some Spooktacular Goodies that are so cool your little one will want to wear them well into the Winter months.
