Andrew & Audrey is an amazing  new label that I just can’t get enough of. We have an exclusive interview with designer Rujira as well as a look into their Fall/Winter collection!   This winter the must have trend is plaid and stripes which are classic but still cool patterns and I love how Andrew & Audrey have incorporated these trends in the newest collection! I defiantly need to get that plaid jacket in the last photo for my 2 little guys!

Check out Andrew & Audrey website for updates on their collection, more information about them and to sign up for their newsletter!

Also check them out on Facebook!

Why did you start Andrew & Audrey?
I was inspired by the Americana theme & my love with fully fashioned sweater.

When did you start Andrew & Audrey?
 spring/summer’10
We love children labels! What makes fashion for kids more appealing to you then doing a line for adults?
I love when I see the joy in the kid’s faces when I put my cloth on them. It is very rewarding
.
What is your favorite thing in your current collection?
Boy: 1/2 striped v nk cardigan
* I love the simple cardigan shape but we made it more fun by mixing fully fashioned sweater with striped jersey fabric
Girl: reversible crew nk cardigan
* I love that it can be worn on both sides. One side is solid fully fashioned sweater & the other side is vintage anchor printed chiffon.
What inspires you?
People around me & where I travel to.
What is your personal style like?
I love neutrals colors, layers, simple cut/shape & makes which can look even more  interesting by playing with different proportion. It creates a very interesting & a different look every times when u get dress by just playing with different length & width of your garments. You should try it.! It’s lots of fun when I play dress up with my nieces.
What do you like to shop for?
Vintage! I am specially in love with 1920-1950 shape. Women always look groomed & beautiful even though most of them were stay at home moms.
What was the hardest part about designing or wanting to be a designer?
Creating something from inside & be consistent
What advice could you give any mother or person who would want to start a line?
If you are passionate about what you do. You will be very successful
What a great interview with such an inspiring designer. Thank you so much for taking your time out to talk with us about your line!

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
