Babiekins Magazine

A Trendsetting Magazine & Online Community For The Trendsetting Child + Parent

Featurekins // Cover Girl: Catching Up with Samantha

By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor 3 Comments

We recently had the opportunity to catch up with the model on the front cover of our 2014 print issue (Volume 3), Samantha Beining. It’s so fun to see what our little models are up to!

What have you been up to since your Babiekins Magazine Volume 3 Cover?

Well the Babiekins Cover launched my career. First of all, a huge Thank you to the photographer Rus Anson, Generations Model Management out of NYC, and the Babiekins editorial team for helping me land that cover! From Vogue Spain to Guess Marciano Girls to Nike, I have enjoyed much success since then.

How do you spend your weekends?

I spend my weekends hanging out with friends when I can. Most of the time I’m traveling for modeling shoots. I travel to Miami, LA and NYC. Sometimes I try to get acting classes in. I always keep up with my acting, but never get time for it because I have so much print work. Sometimes we do get to take family trips for fun.

What are some of your favorite things to do?

I love to make SLIME!!!! I sell it. I like to drive remote control cars. I just got a new surfboard and plan on doing surfcamp this year again, with my good friend Patrick Heaney and his Mom and Dad and sister Brianna.I also practice skateboarding. I go to the waterpark and I love water slides. My favorite is the halfpipe at Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach, FL. I like rollercoasters anytype and I want to go to Universal this year. I have never been there and that is my dream to ride Rip Rocket and the Hulk.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

Actually Surf camp! I’m so excited about getting better surfing skills. I like snorkeling and paddle boarding. We may visit my friend Leaha Sklarski, I love hanging out with her. We talked about maybe doing a sailing camp at Pacific beach.

If you had to wear the same outfit everyday, what would it look like?

If I had to choose one outfit to wear everyday, it would definitely be my British looking Ralph Lauren Jacket and my long jeans with rips in them and my Yoda Star Wars shirt. I love Ralph Lauren he is my favorite designer.

Copyright © 2021 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
