Anyone who knows me knows that I have a major sweet tooth…so it’s probably no surprise that I like to celebrate holidays and birthdays {and hey, every day!} with fun candy. What friend’s face wouldn’t light up after receiving a box full of favorite treats?!
So to make a candygram, all you need to do is a pick a favorite color of a friend or one that suits a holiday and run with it. Green for St. Patrick’s Day seemed perfect for this time of year!
I love trips to the candy store, but even grocery and big box stores have many choices of multi-colored bags of candy that can be sorted and then used.
Before filling the boxes, I like to line the bottoms with patterned paper. Just another way to add some more color…or even add a special little note if you’d like!
Then I fill the sections of the box to the brim. This is my favorite part! One bit of advice…avoid minty or cinnamon candy…those flavors can be really overpowering to the other candy.
After it’s all filled up, tie the box with a bow, munch on the leftovers, and gift!
This is just darling! Would you please share where you got the fabulous box? Thank you!
