I love any craft that is quick and easy, can be done with your little one,and the result is something you’ll actually enjoy in your home. These painted potted plants are that perfect summer craft. Because my daughter is not yet 2 and we were using acrylic paints I did most of the painting but kids a little older can easily create their own designs and the younger ones can help with potting the plants. My daughter loves any excuse to play in dirt.
What you need //
Plain planters
Masking tape
Acrylic paint
Paint brushes
(Plants)
How To //
Clean the pots of any dirt or debri
Tape off design with masking tape (I went with simple geometric shapes, you can also free hand)

Another great use for them is as storage, you can store your garden tools or even bring them inside and use them as crayon or craft supply holders
