I’m on a popsicle fetish. And a straw fetish, apparently. Summer is the perfect time to eat popsicles, decorate with popsicles, and now it’s a time to drink with popsicles! That’s exactly what you can do with these DIY Popsicle Drinking Straws. They’re a cinch to make, and no gluing, sewing, or taping is required!
Supplies:
- colored cardstock
- scissors (or cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette)
- assorted drinking straws
- popsicle template (simply search online for one you like and print out, mine purchased here)
Once you’ve found a popsicle image you’re happy with, print out and trace onto your cardstock. If you’re using a cutting machine, upload your jpg file and let it trace and cut. Organize your paper popsicles in cute, colorful fashion. Take your drinking straws and simply weave them through the paper popsicle. Twist and turn the popsicle until it feels secure on the straw.
And that’s it! Plop these straws into some cute glass bottles and fill with your favorite summer beverage!
Now you can stay refreshed while sipping all summer long. Even if there are no real popsicles are around!
