Momkins // Hers and Hers For UK Mother’s Day

By Donna Tweedale, Former Contributor Leave a Comment

Over here in the UK, we’re getting ready to celebrate Mothers Day with our babiekins. And how better to celebrate a day with our little ones than with some fun twinning? These adorable ’50s-silhouette dresses are a great fit for any shape and so versatile. Mamas, team yours with some hi-tops for everyday, or throw on some heels.

This vibrant zoo print is so fun, and it’s brand-new to Bryony & Co. for SS16.

Momkins // Dewy Walks To School

By Donna Tweedale, Former Contributor Leave a Comment

School mornings can be a race against the clock to get out on time. I try to organise the kids out the door 5 minutes earlier than we really need to, allowing enough time to stroll. Walking hand in hand take in the Autumn days dewy beginnings. Taking time to stop and let the snails pass, count the cobwebs draped between the fences, kick the piles of crisp leaves.

I’ll be sure to have a large tote bag to throw everything the kids need for their day so my hands are free to hold theirs and we’re ready to go. Hats are becoming my school run go to, they can lift any outfit and give you one less thing to have to worry about fixing up in the morning. Once I’m home I can add a matte red lip and this Mumma’s ready for the day ahead.

There are few bonds that bind closer than siblings, that is until you consider twin siblings. My little ones, Carter and Mason, of course are not but there’s no good reason I shouldn’t dress them as though they were. I’ve got a small window of opportunity to do this before they’re old enough to refute, and I’m going to seize it! Though two years a part, there are multiple brands out there with squee worthy lines in sizes that fit both my boys. Here, their Roar! long sleeves and matching leopard print leggings from Sweet Luka Mo, comfortably highlight that ferocious brotherly relationship.

Fashionkins // Twinning and a bit of glamour

By Isabel Leave a Comment

My sister and I we were not always too happy about wearing matching outfits as a kid. But now that I have kids of my own, I can’t blame my mom. It is just too good not to do it. With all the unisex brands on the market now, it is even possible to do this when you have a girl and a boy.
This sweater is one of my favourites and I just had to have one for my two little loves.

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
