All white outfits; the perfect Winter-to-Spring transition color and my latest t obsession. There are so many possibilities with an all white outfit and so much room to really make it pop with bold shoes or a statement necklace! I am a sucker for a good pair of sweatpants and these from Lou & Grey for LOFT totally won me over. I loved the lace up detail on this top and felt it paired great with this turkish coin necklace for a bohemian vibe. Lastly, these Wallabee-esque boots were my go to shoes in this outfit and I may just wear it every day!

After having my baby exactly one month ago from today (can’t believe how fast it has flown by!), it has been exciting and a bit challenging dressing this post baby body. I can fit into some of my old clothing, but not much of it quite yet. With a newborn in the house, who really has time to get ‘dressed’?! This look is my easy and comfy go-to outfit. Joggers + an easy to nurse in tee + sneakers + a tailored coat = you can do no wrong!

The perfect kimono. It’s a must in my closet. Throw it on and go – it can seriously complete any outfit and make you feel put together while chasing after the little ones. My newest favorite is this floral duster from Love Threads. The colors are vibrant (and make me happy!) and I love pairing it with denim and booties for on the go dates with my little boy.

As my pregnancy progresses, it is getting harder and harder to dress the bump without looking huge and uncomfortable. That is, until I found this funky little maternity dress from Asos Maternity! It is has a great pattern, it is comfortable and flattering and can be worn so many different ways! An outfit that is easy to throw on in 5 seconds that makes you look like you tried hard, is the perfect thing for me these days when all I really want to wear are giant tee shirts and sweatpants. It is an overall confidence and mood booster when you find a dress like this one that makes you feel great AND is easy to wear all day. In the first set of photos I paired the dress with some 70s inspired platforms and a structured hat which is something I would wear out for a date night or for a nice event, such as a baby shower. The second look is more laid back with a little rebel with a grey anorak and some Dr. Martens. If you are currently preggers, I highly suggest this dress!

Fall/Winter is definitely the easiest and comfiest time to be pregnant. It is cooler outside which gives way to a lot more options for dressing a baby bump! Lots of layers, socks, boots and tons of new options for styling. I will be living in this cashmere maxi dress this season! It perfectly accentuates the bump while staying comfy and it is perfect for layering. I added a favorite of mine, this vintage suede trench jacket, for that extra light layer on top and a great stiff brim hat. To complete the look, I threw on some slouchy socks with my tried and true Clarks boots. This outfit stands the test of time and is cozy to boot! A great option for both pregnant and non-pregnant mamas!

Transitioning from Summer to Fall can be tricky, especially with a baby bump! A fitted maxi dress can never do wrong and is perfect for layering. Add a nice light trench and you can instantly transition easily to fall for those cooler nights without adding too much bulk to your outfit. Once it really starts to cool down, adding some socks to the mules and a beanie would really complete the cozy look.

Momkins // Abnous + Cam & Winn

Momkins // Abnous + Cam & Winn for Babiekins Magazine

I have an insane amount of respect for the trendy mama of today’s busy world.

While I was outfitted in athletic-wear at the local public library’s “Story Time”, I spotted Abnous and Winn. Week after week, Abnous, as if stepping off the pages of the trendiest Pinterest boards, toted in 2 year old Winn making dressing our babiekins as toddler trendsetters seem like a piece of cake.

My two boys were usually just covered in cake.

What do you love most about dressing your kiddos?

I have always viewed fashion as almost an art form. I never really cared about brands, but buying what stands out to me as something beautiful and unique. I love that the kids are like blank canvases; they can pull off just about anything! Cameron’s at the age where she’s starting to develop an opinion about what she wants to wear so it’s fun to see what she comes up with sometimes!

Favorite brands/ shoppes / designers?

Zara, Crewcuts, Gap, Antik Batik, Atsuyo Et Akiko, Thief & Bandit, H&M. My favorite line Ace & Jig now has a kids’ line!

Copyright © 2022 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
