Babiekins Favorite Swim Trends for Kids: Graphic Sayings

By Debbie Jovel, Contributor Leave a Comment

There are several trends I am excited about in swimwear this summer; recently, I posted a round-up of rainbow swim and today I am sharing Graphic Sayings. I love this trend because it says exactly what your babiekins are thinking. These swimsuits say it all: tiny girl gang; make waves; bonjour; be bold; be nice; sunny; smile a lot; the bestest and dream. No matter what your babiekins’ personality is, there is a swimsuit to say it this summer!

Happy first day of fall! Shot in Berlin, this fall fashion story follows a girl as she explores her way through the depths of the city dressed in autumn knits, denim, and pieces with a nostalgic flair. Inspired by David A. Carter’s pop up book, this editorial transports us to a vibrant realm filled with fun shapes. The styling is stellar and we are loving the primary hues.

Fashionkins//Cousin Love

By Beth Morris, Former Contributor Leave a Comment

I am so lucky to have some beautiful nephew and nieces in my life but the  bond between these two is stronger than no other. Though separated by a Islands distance the three weeks that separates them by birth has them holding a friendship that I know will continue throughout their life.

They are lucky to see each other on a regular bases as we make the effort to travel to catch up with the whole family. I have watched over the years them develop from toddler fighting over sharing toys to the imaginary games they now spend hours playing together. In fact the last time we spent a week together over Christmas they held each other tight and weeped when they had to be separated.

I can’t wait to see them grow into strong independent women and see them conquer the world in their own way. But for now my babes stay young and keep making up those wedding shows you plan for hours and entertain us all with.

Thanks to the amazing shops that stock the best threads here in NZ, Sobeaubaby and Greyandwild …. follow our adventures over on https://www.instagram.com/themorrismob/

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
