By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor Leave a Comment

Navigating the adolescent years can be quite tricky, but having a solid group of friends can make it a little easier and a lot more fun! Romana, Lulla, and Hannah are three besties that love Kpop and spending time with one another.

How long have you been besties?
Hana: Since I was 5. But I’ve known Romana since I was a small baby. Oh well, since I can remember really.
Lula: Give or take about years. Our Moms are besties too
Romana: I have been Besties with Alula since I was 7, So a pretty long time. Hannah is my younger sister, I have known her all my life and I know her better than anyone.
What are your favorite things about each other?
Hana:My favourite things about Romana is her freckless and her hair. And I love how flexible Alula is.
Lula: I love them for their great sense of humor
Romana: I love how generous and caring Lula is. I also adore her singing. Hanna is a pain in the backside 90% of the time, But she is my sister, and I love how funny and protective she is.
You girls have an entire day to yourselves, how do you spend it with each other?
Hana: We would go shopping!
Lula: Chesington or Thorpe Park, OR go shopping.
Romana: We would probably go to central london and go shopping.
What would you do if you found out one of your friends was being bullied?
Hana: I would report it and stand up for them!
Lula: Stand up to bully
Romana: I would confront them and give them a pieace of my mind.
What tracks would we find on your shared playlist?
Hana:We would listen to Kpop (Momoland, Pentagon, BTS)
Lula: Black Pink(Kpop)
Romana: Kpop or anything in the top chart obviously!

Cousins: A Teen Fashion Editorial Featuring Fall Styles

By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor 3 Comments

There’s more to fall fashion for teens than ripped denim and athletic sweatshirts. In this photo story, luxe knits in greens, blues, pinks and mustards offer comfortable yet sophisticated options when paired with maxi skirts and trousers. Gold accents add the right amount of bling.

Teenkins // Sunshine Daydream

By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor 3 Comments

Sun coming daydream, Come on over daydream,
Come on over, Come on over daydream,
Sweet coming daydream, Hey, never fade away dream,
Yea, Hey hey, Sweet coming daydream, Never fade away dream

– Grateful Dead – Sunshine Daydream Lyrics

Let’s talk incorporating vintage pieces and thrift finds into a teen wardrobe. Mix decades, so that it doesn’t look like a costume. Incorporating these finds with current wardrobe is key.

We are so excited about our Teenkins & Tweenkins expansion. What does this mean? It means that some of our babiekins are growing up and some of your babiekins are growing up, too. Babiekins Magazine will now be accepting more teen and tween fashion editorials and photo stories. We hope to create a space where parents, tweens, and teens can be inspired together.

In-between was shot in London with three girls who are at that age that sits between childhood and teenhood. The story was influenced by classic style for city life.

Featurekins // Something Eventually

By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor Leave a Comment

“You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes to you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen.” ― Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
