Fashionkins: One Dress, Two Ways

By Elizabeth Pettey, Digital Photo Editor Leave a Comment

Although we’re bidding a farewell to the warm weather here in New York, there’s no need to pack away your little’s favorite summer dress! Instead, layer basics (leggings and t-shirts) under! For this Two Els dress, we threw under a soft striped turtle-neck (because who doesn’t love stripes + florals) in coordinating colors.

Fashionkins // Independence Day Wear

By Emily Rubio, Former Junior Editor, Kids' Style Leave a Comment

It’s no secret that I love festive and celebratory clothing. For this Independence Day, I chose a patriotic romper because it so adorably represents the land of the free because of the brave. The flag especially means a lot to me, since I’m a military wife and we’re a military family. We would love to see how you and your babiekins represent America this year — and we wish you all a wonderful holiday!

Fashionkins // Summer is HERE!

By Elizabeth Pettey, Digital Photo Editor Leave a Comment

It’s here! Sweet summertime has finally arrived in New York City and with it, all of the amazing kid-approved SS15 pieces (Ella begged her mother for one of these Stella McCartney swimsuits for her birthday!) that we’ve been drooling over for months. Grab the beach ball, throw on your Natives and embrace the fun!

Momkins // One Look 3 Ways

By Donna Tweedale, Former Contributor Leave a Comment

I’m a loyal skinny jean fan. My trusty 501’s are so beat up they’re practically falling apart. But I adore them.

With a little trepidation I moved the skinny fit denim aside to make room for some flares and embrace the summer 70’s vibes. Here’s how I’ve been styling mine… I think I’m converted.

Giveaway // Jonas Paul Eyewear

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief Leave a Comment

Babiekins Magazine // Giveaway | Jonas Paul Eyewear

Babiekins Magazine // Giveaway | Jonas Paul Eyewear

Since the beginning Babiekins has always wanted to give you more then the latest fashion. We believe that each child is precious and special and valuable beyond measure. We are never happier than when we come across companies who embrace the importance of giving others a boost! Recently we were introduced to Jonas Paul- a beautifully designed glasses company that also was started and inspired by a wee one. Jonas Paul was a baby born on March 2013 that was diagnosed with Peter’s Anomaly, a rare disorder that limits his vision and has subjected him to numerous surgeries, medications, and treatments in hopes of improving his sight.

Jonas father (Ben, co founder of Jonas Paul Eyewear) researched the eyewear options for his tiny son and was surprised that the only options available were glasses without style. With most companies focusing solely on function, Jonas Paul Eyewear wanted to provide function AND new form to the eyewear world and make beautiful glasses that would help children feel confident and have a brighter future.

We are pairing with Jonas Paul Eyewear to giveaway a pair of frames (optical or sunglasses).

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
