Summer is right around the corner and I can hardly believe this weekend is already Memorial Day Weekend. Summer is my favorite season; I love the sunny hot weather and look forward to taking a vacation and spending time outdoors with my babiekin. My favorite summertime activity with my babiekin is to fly a kite. The sky is the limit with this round-up of fun and colorful kite goodies. Kites are perfect for a sunny & breezy day or to decorate your babiekin’s room.

Enjoy, Fly a Kite & Happy Memorial Day!

Ice cream cones are popping up on just about everything this Spring and Summer Season, and these goodies are so sweet they will have your babiekins literally screaming for ice cream! This round-up of fun and cute ice cream cones in pretty pastel colors has an extra scoop of cuteness and reminds me of of being a kid and chasing after the ice cream truck on a hot summer day; I can almost hear the jingle from the ice cream truck as I am typing this. Your babiekins will love playing with, decorating and wearing ice cream cones while eating their favorite treat this summer – an ice cream cone of course!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for Ice Cream!

FEATUREKINS // Pale Cloud

I have fallen truly, madly and deeply in love with Pale Cloud whom recently released their Spring Summer 2014 collection. I won’t lie, I almost shed a tear knowing I will have to wait at least another 1.5 years before I can see Indy in something so feminine and delicate as Pale Cloud’s SS 14 collection. I do love a bit of colour pop in children’s clothing but I have always loved a muted and subdued colour tone, which is the signature style of Pale Cloud, the muted colours with the one pop of summer yellow make their collection that much more irresistible. Personally, my favourite garments are the gorgeous Wionna Playsuit and the Drew Playsuit which is 100% Silk Crepe with a lovely, subtle origami crane print.

palecloud1In the words of Pale Cloud, “Pale Cloud is a brand dedicated to the expression of style through those we love the most, our children.” The label is available for girls, age 4 to 14 years (hence the tear shed, Indy is only 2.) find your nearest stockist at pale cloud.com

Copyright © 2019 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
