A Trend I love for this Spring Season is Print-Mixing. I am seeing Print-Mixing being utilized as patchwork or by mixing prints together, like florals and classic shirting stripes, in unexpected and refreshing ways. This is a round-up of my favorite Spring Trends utilizing Print-Mixing for babiekins: scrunchies; flared dress; a paper doll; classic button-down; long skirt; romantic blouse; hoodie; belt bag and oversize collars. These Print-Mixed fashions are a little bohemian, a little refined, and full of youthful fun.
Maybe if we wear green, we will soon see Spring!

That stretch of days filled with sunshine, pool dates and new friends is finally upon us! Summer, we heart you! Lounging poolside while watching our little ones race to the swimming pool, jumping right in or dipping their little toes to test the temperature. Another wonderful thing about summer is that there are no boring school uniforms to wash or press. We are loving clothing and swimsuits that feature photographic imagery, watercolor prints, and quirky marine life illustrations. And bright and pastel hues, which look great against the serene aquamarine waters.

After I had my second baby I realized how important alone time with each child really is. Those special memories of enjoying quality one-on-one time with each of them and doing things they love is priceless. For me, it’s never really about what we are doing, but rather the little conversations that come with it and the moments that help me learn more about their personalities. We found matching denim jumpers on a recent shopping trip and I felt like our date was the perfect occasion. I have always loved to match with my daughter but now its even more fun because she loves it too. In her eyes, right now, twinning means she gets to “be like mommy,” as she refers to it. As we got ready to leave on our special date, she stood toe-to-toe with me, looked up with the biggest smile, pointed to our matching sandals and told me they were “pewwfect togeder.” On our date we walked through downtown Ventura, hand-in-hand, as I listened to her sassy lil’ voice go on and on about all kinds of things she had on her mind. The type of chitter chatter I want to remember forever.

As we enter the fall season, transitioning our little one’s wardrobe becomes a fun necessity. Trench coats, knit tights, scarves and dresses are a wonderful way to layer and keep little ones comfortable and warm. Combining whites and rusty fall colors are perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. Rubber boots are great for walking through piles of fallen leaves.
This trend is spot on. Chambray has transitioned from summer to fall, and it seems it’s not fading anytime soon. Everyone can wear this trend without fail. Mixing jeans, plaids, & prints with Chambray to make different looks. One piece of Chambray & the outfits can be endless.
How do you wear “Chambray”?
