Travelkins // Take Me Back To Bali

By Beth Morris, Former Contributor Leave a Comment

We were lucky enough a few weeks back to return once again to the country we love to visit, Bali. Its the place we got married at and the country we visited for our two Baby Moons and we love it so. The culture, the food, the smells and the colours make it a place that is unforgettable, and with sun that shines almost daily a great place to escape New Zealands long cold winter. Now that the children are a little older since our last visit and both are now able to swim alone it made for a relaxing and easy holiday. We did some fun activities like visits to the Water Park and  the Marine Safari Park, hung out at a few cool Beach Clubs, visited the monkeys and learnt how to plant rice and released baby turtles back into the wild.

I already miss the long lazy days and happy hour cocktails. The shopping is also fabulous and eating at restaurants with amazing food as the sunsets its a real treat. Until next time Bali.

With Spring on its way over here Downunder we are staring to think bare legs, longer days and less layers. After a long cold winter its exciting to see new season goodness arrive in the shops and the latest collection from our friends at Carbon Soldier is full to the brim of summer gorgeousness. Ive shared some the girls goodies but believe me theres also plenty for the boys too. Its all about linens, bloomers, bows and  bearing some buttons. Head over yourselves to their website to check out the full collection. The best bit is this season they have teamed up with Louis and Loa shoes to bring you some fabulous leather soles you won’t want to miss.

Copyright © 2022 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
