Hosted in the Vinyl Factory just off of Carnaby Street in London, myself and Emily were so excited to visit Dot To Dot to meet with brands of old favourites and new exhibiting their visions for AW16 for the first time. Dot to Dot is always a carefully curated show in an environment where you can take the time to meet with the creative’s behind the brands and gather a real understanding of their values and appreciate their lines.

Wool in modern shapes and vibrant tones will be a big influence on the next season. A great advocate of which was new brand Knit Planet. A parent team having fun with knit wear and capturing moments of childhood friendship.

We had a whole lot of love for new label Maison Chaos awarded Best Collection of the show, a title well deserved. Created by a team of fathers from Sweden using fabrics that are predominantly seen across the adult luxe athletic trend and applying them to Children’s wear. The result. A line of superhero inspired ready to wear pieces of modern voluminous shapes and fluidity; with superb attention to detail. Neoprene sweaters and metallic pleated skirts this Autumn Winter? We cannot wait.

From Childrenswear to Interiors, HAM walked away with the award for Best Stand. A display of the brand’s new wall stickers and crafted wares encapsulating the playful moments of a Rabbit. These beautifully presented nostalgic prints in their monochrome style are great fun for any nursery.

Copyright © 2022 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
