This spring season eye glasses replace mustaches as the new cool icon; the polo makes a return as a fashion staple; and chemistry blurs with art creating Pop Lab. I am loving this new ‘geek chic’ trend because I grew up watching Bill Nye the Science Guy and I have always loved experimenting with science. I consider the most wonderful experiments to be the ones that don’t turn out quite as expected – it’s the mistakes that surprise us with a fusion of Pop Lab. I am looking forward to creating science experiments with my little babiekin that teach him about the wonderfully unexpected world of science.

It’s officially Spring and the little man and I couldn’t be happier. What could be more perfect to show off how happy we are than a light weight jacket adorned with a rainbow. A rainbow! I mean, it doesn’t get more cheery (and springy) than that. We discovered this amazing jacket via Minou Kids and I just love all the fun, whimsical patterns and colors in the collection. Happy April everyone!

I have a son, and I am always on the lookout for cool boys clothes; so it is no wonder that I love Mini & Maximus. Mini & Maximus is inspired by kids – their curiosity, impulsiveness, whimsy, creative spirit, imagination, humor, and awe of the world around them. Kids are original, courageous, and exuberant; and so is Mini & Maximus. Mini & Maximus cares about kids, cares about the planet, cares about originality, and they also have the coolest t-shirts. Each season, in addition to creating their own unique designs, Mini & Maximus collaborates with artists both young and old who inspire them. Are you or your little ones artists? Mini & Maximus wants the cool scribbles and drawings from your wonderful children because they are always looking for cool artwork to print on their products. So, if you think or know that you can draw, you can submit your art and who knows… It just may end up in their line.

For kids and the kid in all of us, there is Mini & Maximus!

Copyright © 2021 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
