Today is Memorial Day in the United States and Summer is finally here! This past winter felt extra cold which is why me and my babiekin are looking forward to enjoying the sun and having fun in the water this Summer. I don’t know about you but I love bright colors in Summer; one of my favorite Swim Trends this Summer Season for Kids is Rainbows. Rainbows are playful and full of bright color – I especially love this totally unique inflatable rainbow splash pad and these fun swimwear styles with Rainbows for boys and girls.

I love everything about the 4th of July: picnics; parades; barbecues; beaches; fireworks; red, white & blue; stars & stripes; summertime; friends & family and celebrating America. The trends I especially love for this 4th of July are chambray or denim dresses and rompers; American flag graphic tees or fashion tops; novelty sunglasses; straw bags or handwoven baskets as well as adding a little bit of sparkle to your babiekins outfit with a sparkly star headband or sparkly sandals.

This 4th of July I will be celebrating with my friends and family by having a picnic. I can’t wait to wear red, white and blue and to fly a kite with my babiekin! How will you be celebrating 4th of July? Whatever you do, I hope you have a wonderful and safe 4th with your babiekins!

The weather is heating up and one of my favorite ways to have fun in the sun is to hit the beach with my babiekin. This Summer Season there are several fun trends in swimwear; one of my favorites is bright colors and graphic one-pieces for girls or allover-printed fun graphic trunks for boys. I especially love unicorn graphics and floats. It’s no surprise that the unicorn trend has hit swimwear since we have been seeing unicorns on pretty much everything lately. So, when the weather heats up wherever you are, grab a transparent tote, head to beach and have fun in the sun this Summer with your babiekins!

This Spring/Summer my favorite fashion trends are the classic staples that are the foundations of our wardrobes: trench coats, shorts and denim– all updated with new washes and embellishments. Here is a round-up of some of my favorite denim fashions in children’s wear that include a chambray playsuit, a classic chambray pinafore, a denim waist bag, an embroidered denim dress, embroidered denim shorts, embroidered chambray bloomers, chambray hi-top sneakers and a skull embroidered denim shirt. With any of these goodies your babiekins won’t get the blues this spring – well… not the sad blues, but they will look cool in blue in the denim days ahead!

This 4th of July I am taking my babiekin to a beach and we are counting down the days until we have fun in the sun. However you celebrate this 4th of July – whether it’s at a beach, at a parade, picnic, family reunion, seeing fireworks, or, all of the above; wearing stars is my favorite 4th of July trend and I believe the perfect compliment to your Independence Day festivities because the best way to celebrate the 4th is to match the American flag. Stars look perfectly patriotic on statement sunglasses, shirts, tees, denim (I especially love stars on denim skirts for girls), shoes, swimsuits and swim trunks.
