I Love Love, therefore, I Love Valentine’s Day! I have been giving my husband ‘hints’ for my Valentine Gift all week, which also sent me on a search for a Valentine Gift for the Love of My Life – yes my son! My son fills our family’s lives with Love and Happiness everyday; and Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to remind him how Lucky we are to have him in our lives! Every Love is unique and special, especially Love between a parent and child, so I have pulled together some of my favorite Valentine Gifts for your child that say “I Love You” in their own unique way!
Bonjour Baby Baskets offers gift baskets filled with luxurious and stylish baby products. A mother and grandmother herself, owner Susana Goldin-Douaire was driven by her love of gifting. Consumers can choose between tastefully curated baskets or create their own. The handmade wool baskets may be filled with accessories from their site which include, brand-name organic and natural clothing, safe and chemical free toys, and skin-care products free of parabens, mineral oils, petroleum, phthalates, and coloring. In the spirit of giving back, $5 from each basket that is sold is given to charity.

1: You Are My Sunshine print – Off Switch Shop I’ve been searching for new art for the girls’ room for quite some time and these prints are the perfect solution. Clean, simple and playful – something that will go with any decor!
2: Rainbow Stacking Blocks – Acorn Toy Shop, Brooklyn We bought these stacking blocks for Sofia her very first Christmas and they still get great use today. The most fun way to learn colors and spending quiet time creating.
3: Wooden Rocking Horse – Moover I’ve been eyeing this beautiful rocking horse for a while now, secretly wishing Santa would drop it under our tree this year! It’s beautifully crafted and can be used by both the girls (from infant to toddler!) which is always a plus.
4: Bennett Balance Bike – Heritage Littles Our friends over at Chicago’s own Heritage Bicycles has recently created a storefront chock full of goodies for the littlest riders. This balance bike is the cream of the crop!
5: Rainbow Natural Teething Rings – Babus Baby Made from natural maple wood, these rings are something Alba and those swollen gums of hers would be happy to see under the tree!
6: Wooden Play Kitchen – Camden Rose Simple Hearth This truly beautiful creation was the biggest purchase I have ever made for the girls – it graced our home for the first time last Christmas. It was a breeze to put together and has seen so much love throughout the year. (A good indicator of money well spent!) Sofia plays with her kitchen every single day and I am certain this heirloom will be passed on to my children’s children and more for years to come.
