Fashionkins // Carousel & Bazaar AW16/17

By Leslie Schor, Senior Fashion Editor 3 Comments

Every now and then, a collection is released that reignites my love for fashion. Clean lines, pastels and neutrals are cool, but give me ALL the patterns, jewel tones and florals!!!! Carousel & Bazaar‘s AW16/17 collection embodies the “granny chic” that everyone is loving right now. With a little nod to the past, this collection gives us sweet details in a sophisticated and current manner.

Healthykins // Farmer’s Market Fun

By Elizabeth Pettey, Digital Photo Editor Leave a Comment

Local honey… fresh flowers… seasonal herbs… there’s nothing better than a trip to the Farmer’s Market in the Spring! Until your little guy picks up a radish and pretends it’s a machete while you’re scrambling to rearrange the barrel of melons your toddler managed to empty in four seconds. Later, as you drool over the perfectly ripe “3 for $5” avocados, you spot your partner help themselves to their tenth strawberry; you’re both mortified and jealous because those samples looked so BERRY good.

We’d love to see what hilarious shenanigans your babiekin gets into (and, of course, what they’re wearing!) on your next trip to the Farmer’s Market!

Fashionkins // Spring Florals

By Zacha Carpenter, Contributor Leave a Comment

In the coming weeks, as the sun stays out longer, we will start seeing spring flowers blooming everywhere. This time of year creates the most beautiful, vibrant color palettes in nature. So naturally everyone starts bringing color back into their wardrobes. This season, I have seen almost every single designer have florals or tropical print in their collections. The power colors taking center stage are lots of greens, blues and yellows. Florals are one of those prints that compliment well with many different pairings, such as, an all white ensemble or with pops of bright colors. They can also be very versatile, floral print outfits can be dressed up or down depending on how you style it. So have fun with this Spring trend and experiment, warmer weather is coming!Babiekins Magazine | Spring FloralsBabiekins Magazine | Spring FloralsBabiekins Magazine | Spring FloralsBabiekins Magazine | Spring FloralsBabiekins Magazine | Spring FloralsBabiekins Magazine | Spring Florals

Copyright © 2022 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
