It’s so important to read to our kids. Not only does it ignite imagination, creativity and enhance vocabulary, reading with your kids is just plain fun. These are a few of my favorite books.  Some educational, some imaginative, some cultural, all beautifully illustrated!

Water, sun and fun is what we thinking about when we think of Spring or Summer! All these words could easily describe the editorial photographed by Deb Schwedhelm! Here are some images that didn’t make it into issue 8!

Fashionkins // In-Betweeners

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief Leave a Comment

This is for all you In–Between Girls, or the parents, or simply just for inspiration. I wanted to introduce this great Danish brand called GRO Company and this line called Sprout by Gro. I really love this line, it has a real cool simplicety to it, minimalistic with a kind of understated design, clean shapes, naive prints and a cool color scheme. It´s not easy to find really nice clothes when you are in-between ages, but I really think Sprout by Gro is one of the top brands at it. While you are there don´t miss the GRO Company girls and boys line (from newborn up to 10 years). Check out GRO Company and Sprout by Gro here!.

See you next Tuesday!. x Helena over at The Junior.

Featurekins // Thief and Bandit

By Lindsay Leave a Comment

So in love with the new little line, Thief and Bandit.  The braided headbands, pop of color and navajo prints are all just too adorable.  I love that most pieces are gender neutral and aside from looking so good, they’re super comfy.  I could literally buy every piece from the collection! Have a wonderful weekend! – LITTLE ONE LOVE

Fashionkins // Copenhagen Fashion

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief 2 Comments

I thought I would share my short (but sweet) trip to Copenhagen and the  CIFFKIDS (kids trade show) with you. This was on for 4 days and  included a great fashion show, daily small lectures and meetings with a whole bunch of inspiring people and new brands.

1. Danish webshop Crème de la crème à la Edgar, makes the cutest knits.  2–4. A mix of brands from the fashion show. 5. Danish kids magazine Cover Kids. 6. French brand Oscar et Valentine, cashmere heaven. 7. Danish brand Bobles, soft animals that will help your kid develop better motor skills simply by playing.
For more pictures have a look at The Junior, see you next Tuesday!.

Copyright © 2021 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
