LOVE BUBBY
Babiekins Magazine || Love Bubby

Say HELLO to “Love Bubby” ! Love Bubby is a kids fashion brand that specializes in stylish graphic t-shirts for little ones who want to make a statement. Established in 2016, Love Bubby was born in the urban paradise of Brooklyn, New York. Using premium quality tees for all of their designs, their “Tri-blend ” fabric makes these statement tees super soft and kid-approved. We love that their tees are unisex, focus on comfort, and make great conversation starters. Their most popular shirt is the “Little Feminist” tee, created to make a stance for gender equality. “It doesn’t hurt to start these conversations at a young age” says Love Bubby.
With a monochromatic color palette for their line, mamas love how there are so many creative ways to style them.
Love Bubby designs are inspired by the life of a little one and we LOVE that about LOVE BUBBY!

Funkins // World Down Syndrome Day

By Rachel Fox Kipphut, Contributor 4 Comments

3-21 is World Down Syndrome Day…..
HAPPY WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY!

Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

Did you know that one in every 691 babies are born with the most common genetic condition known as Down Syndrome? That means that these kiddos have an extra copy of chromosome 21, and we want to celebrate that!
Eva, Ellie and Griffin want you to know a little more about them on this special day!

Eva Age 4
Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

“Eva can brighten up even darkest of days. She brings great joy to her family and those around her and will bring a smile to anyone’s face. Although she may seem shy at first, she is a bit of a DIVA underneath the surface. You may even see her from time to time right here on the BabieKins Blog! Eva loves reading books, working on her artwork, singing, dressing up and dancing! She has been dancing at a local dance school for almost three years. Currently, Eva is in her second year of Pre-school at an inclusive school. She will move on to Kindergarten next year!”

Ellie Age 5
Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

” Ellie is brave, adventurous, kind-hearted, sweet & spunky. She brightens any room she enters with her warm smile and bold personality. She loves deeply and is always the first to ask, “Are you ok!?!” to anyone who is crying or looks upset. She knows no stranger. She works hard at everything she tries and succeeds beyond measure!
Ellie is inspiring and it is so fun to watch her learn, grow, and overcome. Ellie is currently rockin’ in her Kindergarten class and can bust a move to just about any beat she hears! She is smart, beautiful and loves to dance! She is so loved!”

Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

Eva and Ellie met at their inclusive Pre-School last year where they started a very sweet friendship. Although they do not see each other in school now, there friendship doesn’t miss a beat.
Just the mention of the other’s name and their faces will light up!

Griffin (Almost Age 3)
Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

“Griffin is compassionate and full of personality! He is a blessing and treasure to his family and brings joy to everyone one around him. Griffin loves books, music ( and making his own music) and loves everything Paw Patrol. He has a strong affection towards others and has one amazing smile! Griffin is very determined, has a great desire to be independent, and is also very charismatic! Griffin will soon start Pre-school. ”

Nicholas Age 7
Babiekins Magzine || World Down Syndrome Day

“Nicholas is so friendly, and an amazing judge of character. He greets everyone and rarely meets a stranger. He loves to be social and enjoys being entertained at a great show or movie and loves to clap and cheer with the crowd! He has street smarts and is also quite opinionated!
He is loved by everyone he knows.”

Fashionkins // Riley

By Elizabeth Pettey, Digital Photo Editor Leave a Comment

Babiekins’ photo editor, Elizabeth Pettey, had the pleasure of meeting mini-fashionista, Riley (the Creative Director and necklace-maker extraordinaire behind LITTLE LUX), at our current print issue’s “Scribbles” shoot. Riley was in NYC for “business and fun” so between her trips to the M&M’s store in Times Square to stock up on treats and making necklaces at Barney’s annual Artisan Day, Riley and Elizabeth met up in Washington Square Park to snap and chat.Elizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUXElizabeth Pettey Photography for Babiekins Blog: Fashionkins// Riley of LITTLE LUX

Copyright © 2021 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
