You have probably seen the amazing work of  illustrator Maia Larkin who has contributed to the fashion industry  for many years. Her illustrations have been featured on brands like  Anaïs & I, Mini & Maximus, Le Vestiaire de Jeanne, Loup Charmant, Suvi Ainoa, along with numerous print and online publications. But did you know that she makes softies (dolls)? Above is a picture of her beautiful daughter holding “Hannah the little mermaid.” All the softies are 100% cotton and stuffed with soft, eco-friendly bamboo and/or corn fiber, along with a handful of organic dried lavender to give them a soothing scent. To add to the charm of each softie Maia also tea-dyes the fabric and hand paints the dolls! What a beautiful gift to give to the little one in your life that will be something they will hold onto and could even pass on to their children.
