It’s that time of year when people flee the harsh winters in the north and take refuge in the Sunshine State. In this photo story, we are taking a look at winter styles with a Miami twist.

The two trends that I am loving this spring & summer season are athletic stripe waistband skirts and boxy simple tees; I think these trends look even cuter when paired together! Athletic influences have made their way into day wear and I can’t get enough of the sporty vibe. I especially like sporty details mixed with girly details in bright bold colors topped with a simple cropped tee. Your babiekins will love this look too: why don’t you give it a twirl this spring season?

Whether you and your babiekins are celebrating this 4th of July at a parade, barbecue, beach, fair, picnic, baseball game, family reunion, fireworks or all of the above, a plaid shirt or dress in Red, White and Blue is a classic look that says “I Love America!”
Your babiekins can also literally say it with a fun graphic tee or tank – because, Yeah America we are Born Free! To complete their perfect patriotic look, throw on a pair of statement sunglasses and sandals; then, grab a picnic basket and enjoy your upcoming 4th of July in the amazingly diverse country that is America!
I can hardly believe we are in the first week of 2016 and another year is already behind us – as is another Pantone color. Goodbye Marsala; hello Pantone’s color of the year 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity! For the first time ever, Pantone’s color of the year is two colors – two soft tones that reflect connection, wellness and a sense of order and peace. I love the soft hues of pink and blue together for both boys and girls because they reflect gender equality and blur the softer more sensitive side of boys, with the stronger, more assertive side of girls. Rose Quartz and Serenity are both colors I am excited to introduce into my beautiful boys’ wardrobe and decor in 2016. Will you dress your babiekins in Rose Quartz and Serenity?
