CHASING LEAVES, Peá Roo
It’s COLD outside
The day’s turned NIGHT
The WIND is blowing
With all its might!
LEAVES shuffle high
Way, way up
In the bright ORANGE sky
With a swoosh and a swish
A twirl and a flip,
I’m chasing them
And floating!
In a late AUTUMN sky!
I’m way high on top
When suddenly the leaves… ?
Well, they STOP!
The wind?
It comes to an END!
And me?
I DROP!
Oh, NO!
I’m falling
I WISH this all would STOP!
It’s cold outside
The day’s turned night
The wind’s no longer blowing
The leaves stay still…
I snuggle in bed
Mom kisses my head
And turns off the light
“Sweet DREAMS!”, she said
