Playtime New York

By Priscila Barros, Editor-in-Chief Leave a Comment

Playtime New York is one of our favorite trade shows to attend. They showcase the best of the best in children’s fashion and are always beautifully set up. This year our amazing intern, Katie went and represented us and had so many amazing things to say. Here are the brands Katie said caught her eye!

 Luna Leggings

I love the fact that the leggings come in so many colors, patterns and styles. You can also get them from a newborn size up to size 8! Now, how fantastic is that? The bright colors can easily transform an outfit!

Hazel Village

I fell in love with the little woodland animals. Hazel Village creates a variety of animals including a  rabbit, toad, raccoon, and a fox (which happens to be my favorite). Each animal comes with a cute outfit and you can buy more outfits for your critters on their website. One special feature of each animal is that they come with hand-stitched faces!

Noe’ & Zoe’ Berlin

I loved Noe’ & Zoe’s collection because of it’s bright neon colors which made their collection extra fun. My favorite item from their collection was a cape that had fabric rings at the ends so kids could slip their fingers in them and then could  make the cape “flap.”

Tannhauser

This collection had the coolest swimwear. Both the girls and boys had the same color concepts: cobalt blue, light blue, and olive green. The girls were a one piece with a one strap going across their right shoulder, while the boys were little swim trunks with a pocket on the left side. There were even little swim caps to match the swimwear! It felt very vintage inspired.

We are hoping to go to NYC this October for the Vogue Bambini fashion show. Will you be attending?

Copyright © 2023 · Babiekins Magazine | A Trendsetting Kids' Fashion Magazine and Online Community for Parents and Children Alike · Since the Southern California birth of Babiekins in 2010, the magazine has grown from into an internationally-recognized print publication with a global circulation and now a thriving online community. We are more than a kids’ fashion magazine. We search everywhere for inspiration, and go beyond trends to bring you fashion, style, decor, design, books, DIY, parties, and playthings. Our readers look to us to keep up with the best and most up-to-date concepts in the children’s market worldwide. We have an eye for quirk. We’re high-fashion, but we value whimsy over tradition. Playful childhood is more important to us than making kids into copycat adults. We believe life is beautiful, life is valuable, and life changes when you see it through the eyes of a child. We seek to transcend skin color, language and zip codes and bring out the real, wild, magical creativity inherent in every child. And behind Babiekins is an optimistic team of mothers-turned-editors, working from home, often with our own little babiekins climbing on, under and around the desks. We want to encourage you, and challenge you to see something different — something special — in yourself and in this world we all share. Welcome to Babiekins!
