I’m still not over the fact that my little baby is now two years old. I don’t care how old (or embarrassed) he gets, I’ll continue to call him that for as long as I’m living. I used to hear people constantly say that “time really flies once you have children,” but I didn’t believe the truth to it until I experienced it myself. I must have blinked because, the next thing I knew, my baby was turning two.
I didn’t really have a theme in mind for his party as I find it one of the hardest things for me to pick because I’m so indecisive. I guess you can just call this a “birthday” theme. Below are the goody bags for the kiddies and party favour jars for the adults. I got the plain white bags at Michaels’s Arts & Crafts and glued down 4.25 x 5.5 rectangles of black cardstock with each child’s name written in white chalkboard marker. The jars were filled with peanut M&M and colourful salt water taffy. Twine was tied around the lids and the labels that I got made from Tiny Prints were stuck on to the front.
We celebrated his birthday with family and friends over the Victoria Day long weekend (for us Canadians) and couldn’t have asked for better weather for an outdoor party.
