saturday morning – the day of her birthday party – hadley woke with a nasty cough + fever of 103°.
she would not leave my side + i held her all day. it was no surprise that by the end of the day – i had a fever, too!
we spent the weekend watching scooby doo + nibbling on party snacks.
so the piñata remains intact for another week!
the silver lining is that we are more than ready for next week’s party …
i made eighteen wool felt wands for party favours. hadley has already claimed hers + her kindergarten teacher has requested some for the class!
